Gaelle Roche
Company Information
Established in 2004, Gaelle has created a new approach to architectural design using original and innovative printing techniques on glass. Gaelle produces artwork for interior designers, architects, corporate and private clients. The majority of her work is targeted at the hospitality sector including luxury hotels and spas, bars and restaurants.
Brief
In order to develop a new set of illustrations for her presentations to designers and clients, Gaelle needed to explore and incorporate the use of Computer-Aided Design and model making. The JIIC began Gaelle's project with a design brainstorming session, followed by the primary assistance which was to work with the CAD team to develop new concepts.
Impact
- Gaelle has included the experience, information, advice and some of the resultant illustrations in her portfolio and has delivered a presentation to a client in China for a 7 star hotel and spa development.
- Working in collaboration with the JIIC has improved Gaelle's confidence in presenting the more complex features in her marketing materials and corporate presentations.
- The use of CAD has also added credibility to her designs, particularly as her larger corporate clients were expecting CAD rendered designs as a matter of course.
Gaelle's passion and love for the materials she uses, backed with her creativity and the inclusion of presenting a more technical overview to her clients, has led to very promising leads recently both in the UK and abroad.
