Aimee Winstone

Aimee Winstone is an award winning designer maker. In 2006 she was one of eight jewellery designers to win the annual prestigious Platinum Design Innovation Award. The Award Ceremony was held at The Hemple hotel in London and an exclusive marketing and PR campaign was organised to help promote the designers. The winning pieces including her diamond and platinum ring were showcased at International Jewellery London in September 2006.
Brief
The JIIC team were approached to help Aimee realise her ring design using their CAD, Rapid Prototyping and finishing expertise, to the award schedule. As this assistance was only a part of the brief, Aimee also further developed her design idea with the team to produce a complimentary suite of jewellery, in particular the addition of a pendant and a pair of earrings to her range.

Using the JIIC's wealth of expertise in CAD/CAM, Rapid Manufacturing and finishing techniques, Aimee was able to achieve an exact 3D model of her design, to her design specification.
