During the past 10 years the JIIC has helped many businesses from within the jewellery and related industries with the team’s wide range of skills. Below are a small sample of the businesses we have assisted.

JIIC was required to assist Glenn Howells with materials and surface finishing advice and the manufacture of aluminium components to be utilised within a scaled working model of one of the companys proposed projects.
The JIIC were asked to undertake additional market research, develop a range of high value added whistle designs, and offer advice and guidance on manufacturing processes.
The initial brief was for the JIIC design team to interpret the clients own ideas and conduct product and market research, which would influence their product range and identify trends for future production and trade shows.
Michael wished to explore the development of a new art form in anodised aluminium using reticulation, the heating of the anodised but untouched metal which distorts the surface with lines and undulations.
As these designs were more suitable for CAD/CAM as a method of production, Fei approached the JIIC for assistance to develop this new product range and to explore Rapid Manufacturing techniques.
The JIIC/Prism KTP programme initially aimed to establish a structured design policy strategy for the company and their design team, and to market and establish a bespoke service in order to generate an additional source of income for the company.
